Headaches, shoulder pain, and neck pain can all be caused by tension from one muscle, your traps! When we sit a lot, traps can become very tight and lead to all sorts of discomfort. Here’s a quick and easy way to ease that pain.
Grab your favorite foam roller or LAX ball and get to work. Rolling up and down the shoulder and neck works well, but it can be tough to keep the roller in a good spot. If your tool of choice keeps slipping out, just work one area at a time. Pin it down and move your head, slowly, every direction you can. Start with 3 sets of 30 seconds and see if that helps.
